Antonio Michael

Originally from New York, Antonio Michael is a producer, director, and writer. He received a Bachelor’s in Film and Media Arts from The University of Tampa. After graduating from college, he founded Stashbox Pictures in 2011, an independent film production company based in Los Angeles. Having worked in the film business for over 20 years, Antonio has an excellent overall knowledge of all aspects of filmmaking from story development, casting and packaging, and on-set production skills. A natural, hands-on leader with a strong creative vision and a long track record of successfully guiding various projects from development to completion. Antonio’s producing background enables him to stay on budget while achieving creative results.

Recent producing work includes Lost Girls: Angie’s Story for director Julia Verdin, starring Olivia d'Abo, Dylan Sprayberry, Anthony Montgomery, Randall Batinkoff, Jane Widdop, M.C. Lyte, and Amin Joseph. MAYA for Julia Verdin, currently in post-production, starring Patricia Velasquez, Rumer Willis, Gian Franco Rodriguez, Rena Owen, Anthony Montgomery, and newcomers Isabella Feliciana and Billy Budinich. The Narrows for director Steven Feder, starring Michael Rispoli, Vincent Pastore, Dan Grimaldi, Joseph D’Onofrio, Waas Stevens, Katie McCarty, and Michael Moreno. As well as Double Exposure for director Howard Goldberg, starring Alexander Calvert, Caylee Cowan, and Kahyun Kim.

Some other films Antonio produced and directed earlier in his career include Native Flow, a documentary about the natural freshwater springs of Florida. In 2011, Antonio directed the romantic drama short film Fortune, starring Jeremy Palko, Larissa Ruiz, and Shannon Stewart. It was an official entry at the Gasparilla International Film Festival and the Sunscreen Film Festival. As well as Deception, starring Amanda Meyers, Wayne Meyers, Rich Mullen, and John Bayliss.

Antonio is a published Crime Thriller Author having written the book: THE PATROLMAN: Some Things You Can’t Unsee.

Antonio is currently producing and directing the feature film Badge of Lies with well-established producer, Julia Verdin.
